Your display settings (dark mode, larger text, dyslexia font and the other accessibility options), your saved progress and a few dismissed prompts are kept in your browser's local storage rather than in cookies. That information stays on your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.
2.3 Analytics Cookies (Optional)
We use Google Analytics to see which pages and features get used, so we know what to improve. It is switched off until you choose Accept All in our cookie banner. Nothing analytics related loads or is sent to Google before that, and choosing Essential Only leaves it off. Once accepted, Google sets cookies named _ga and _gid that give your browser a random id, kept up to two years. We do not send Google your name, email address, or anything you type into the tutor.
3. Third-Party Cookies
- Google Analytics: Only after you choose Accept All, as described above.
- Payment processor: May set cookies for payment processing and fraud prevention.
- Google (if using Google Sign-In): Sets cookies for authentication.
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run a Facebook or TikTok pixel, we do not record your screen or mouse movements, and we do not track you across other websites.

- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent the Service from working.
5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We honor the Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals your browser can send. When either one is turned on, analytics never loads, no analytics cookies are set, and we do not ask you to choose in the cookie banner, because the answer has already been given.
